Edinburgh born trio Monticule can’t really be pinned down but if you were to say ‘soulful-bluesy-country-rock’ you wouldn’t be wrong.

Their unique style has drawn comparisons to the likes of The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes. Following high praise from BBC Scotland and Another Country with Ricky Ross with their singles ‘Vultures’ and ‘Pros & Cons’, Monticule progressed to playing the main stages at the sold out Hebridean Celtic Festival and FyneFest in 2016. At this year’s Marathon they are playing Revolver.
