Formed in 2016, Jumbo Gibson are a rock band from the city of Glasgow in Scotland, UK. They write & record music that is crafted in the same mould as the classic British & American music they play live at festivals, events and venues around the country. To date they have released 2 albums of original music; ‘Magic Box’ (2020) and ‘A Strange Kind of Free’ (2023). Both are available on all good streaming platforms.

In 2025, Jumbo Gibson undertook a Beatles project to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Rubber Soul’s release. With a string of sold out shows behind them, they are currently touring this show around the Scotland, where, in addition to playing the whole album (and relate single), they play a full set of Beatles classics along with an AV show.

Of their Rubber Soul project, front man Steven Blood says, “We are not a tribute band, so don’t expect wigs and costumes. We are Beatles fans (like you) who just happen to be in a band together and who love a challenge. We have been very meticulous in our rehearsals and instrumentation to ensure that this will be an authentic live experience that all Fabs fans will enjoy – including us! We can’t wait to play it for you at the Beatles Marathon”.
